Roger Arce Neves was born in Burnley, Great Britain. He grew up in a circus family and travelled a lot. In 1998 he started his ballet training at the Escuela municipal de danzas Norma Fontela in Mar del Plata, Argentinia. In 2000 he went to the Escola do Teatro Bolshoi no Brasil, before he became a student at the Conservatorio Brasileiro de Dança in Rio de Janeiro in 2007. He graduated in 2010.
He won the First Prize at the FestiDance in São Paulo in 2008 as well as at the Festival de Dança in Rio de Janeiro in 2009.
During his education he became Soloist with Cia Brasileira de Dança from 2008 to 2010. In March and April 2010 he was engaged as Soloist with the Cuban Classical Ballet of Miami, USA, from September 2010 until July 2011 as Demi Soloist with the Croatian National Ballet.
In the season 2011/12 he danced as a guest with the Stuttgart Ballet’s Corps de ballet.
