Glenn Prince was born in New York, USA. He studied piano at the University of Southern California with John Crown, conducting with Walter Ducloux and Hans Beer and dance in Los Angeles and San Francisco. As a dancer he worked in Belgium (Charleroi) as well as in Germany (Karlsruhe and Munich).
In 1977 Glenn Prince joined the Stuttgart Ballet as a rehearsal pianist. His talent however, is not limited solely to playing for rehearsals. He also performs as a solo pianist and works as a conductor at the Stuttgart Ballet.
Glenn Prince has played The Lady of the Camellias (choreography by John Neumeier), Concerto for Piano and Orchestra Nr. 2 in B flat major op. 83 by Johannes Brahms, Brouillards by Claude Debussy, to name only a few ballets. Furthermore he conducted Onegin, Romeo and Juliet, The Taming of the Shrew, Swan Lake (all: choreography by John Cranko), The Sleeping Beauty (choreography by Márcia Haydée) and many more ballets.
Glenn Prince is also responsible for the organization of the music department of the Stuttgart Ballet.
