Brent Parolin was born in Prince George, British Columbia, Canada in 1987. He started to take ballet lessons at Judy Russell’s Enchainement Dance Centre in his home town at the age of six. From 2001 until 2005 he continued his dance education at the National Ballet School of Canada in Toronto and successfully completed it one year later at the John Cranko Schule in Stuttgart.
After being an apprentice with the Stuttgart Ballet in the season 2006/07, Brent Parolin was taken into the Corps de ballet in 2007/08. In 2010/11 he was promoted to Demi Soloist.
He danced his first major role at the Stuttgart Ballet while still being a dancer in the Corps de ballet: the title role in Marco Goecke’s Orlando. For the Noverre-Society’s “Young Choreographers” he already created two own choreographies. In June 2010 his Pas de deux Slight Erosion for Elizabeth Mason and Alexander Jones premiered. One year later the Pas de deux Absolute, danced by Alessandra Tognoloni and Alexander Jones, premiered.
