Roman Novitzky was born in Bratislava, Slovakia. He received his education at the Conservatory of Ballet in Bratislava where he graduaded in 2003. Right after his graduation he joined the Ballet of the State Theatre Slovakia where he reached the position of Soloist. Guest Performances led him to Japan, Taiwan and Canada.
In the 2009/10 season Roman Novitzky joined the Stuttgart Ballet’s Corps de ballet. In 2011/12 he was promoted to Demi Soloist.
For the Noverre-Society’s “Young Choreographers” he created his first own choreography in May 2012: the Pas de deux The Hours was danced by Miriam Kacerova and the choreographer himself. In January 2013 he presented his second choreography at the Noverre-Society: Are you as big as me?
