July 2nd, 18:00 h (CET) to July 5th, 22:00 h (CET)
From July 2nd to July 5th StuttgartBallet@Home will continue with Taiyō to Tsuki, a brand new work by the highly acclaimed Swiss choreographer Martin Schläpfer. The designated Artistic Director of the Vienna State Ballet, who has created almost exclusively for his own companies in the past, created his first work for the Stuttgart Ballet in February 2020. Juxtaposing Franz Schubert’s lush and romantic 3rd Symphony with Toshio Hosakawa’s sparse and evocative Seascapes of Fukuyama, his new piece combines flamboyant, joyous choreography with introspective and contemplative moments of stillness. As video on demand on the Stuttgart Ballet’s website and YouTube channel.
