Behind the Scenes

Behind the Scenes

With the Stuttgart Ballet and the John Cranko School
The Stuttgart Ballet offers a glimpse into the wings to reveal dancers’ daily work, unpolished and accessible. In the intimate Kammertheater, viewers can observe what the company is currently working on. Watch dancers in process, improving their technique and artistry step by step, whether learning new choreography or developing their roles. These open rehearsals are moderated by artistic staff as well as dramaturg Lucy Van Cleef in order to provide background and context to the work in the studio. Additionally, students from the John Cranko School demonstrate their work towards professional stage careers on two dates.
