Vita

Ruth Schultz was born in Westchester County, NY (USA) and received her first ballet training at a local ballet school before she joined the Westchester Dance Academy in Mount Kisco. As scholarship holder she came to the Ellison Ballet Professional Training Program in New York City in 2016. Thanks to a further scholarship she came to the John Cranko School in 2019, from which she graduated in summer 2022.

She successfully participated in several competitions. In 2021 she won the National Merit Award at the National Fine Arts Festival. In 2019 she placed in the top 12 at the Youth America Grand Prix Finals in New York City. That same year she won the Gold medal at the Dance Prix de New York. At the Youth America Grand Prix 2019 in New York as well as at the International Ballet Competition in 2018 she won Silver medals in Classical and Contemporary. At the Youth America Grand Prix 2018 in Boston she won the Youth Grand Prix Award.

During the 2022/23 season Ruth Schultz is an apprentice with the Stuttgart Ballet.
