On Sunday, April 6, 2014 the Stuttgart Ballet invites you to a Ballet-Talk: For the mixed repertory evening WAYFARERS resident choreographer Demis Volpi and the Romanian choreographer Edward Clug are both creating new pieces. Together with the Associate Artistic Director of the Stuttgart Ballet and our Music Director James Tuggle they will give insights into the upcoming premiere, present their ideas and talk about the music by Michael Gordon and Milko Lazar, which were commissioned for their new ballets.

By now the rehearsals for our Giselle revival have reached their final stage – which means this week we are starting with the stage rehearsals at the Opera House. We’re already looking forward to the revival on March 21, 2014. The casts for the first shows are already online.
No less then two world premieres will be presented in our new mixed repertory evening WAYFARERS: Aftermath by Demis Volpi and No Men’s Land by Edward Clug. The audience already got first impressions of these new choreographies at Behind the scenes with the Stuttgart Ballet in February, but until the premiere on April 17, 2014 there is still a lot to do …
