As of September 29, 2016 we will be back in the Opera House with John Cranko’s The Taming of the Shrew! Further performances will follow in October, also in the Play House with the mixed repertory evening Kammerballette with choreographies by Hans van Manen, Glen Tetley and Katarzyna Kozielska. Tickets are already available!
If you just can’t get enough of the Stuttgart Ballet even though we are on summer holidays until September, we have good news for you: the SWR documentary “Of Miracles and Superheroes – 55 years Stuttgart Ballet” will be available online until the end of October, with wonderful archival footage of John Cranko and newly filmed material of today’s Stuttgart Ballet!

Congratulations to our Principal Dancer Friedemann Vogel who will be awarded with the “Prix MAYA” 2016. This prestigious prize, selected by a jury made up of some of the world’s best-known dance critics and specialists will be presented in a Gala performance at Palais des Festivals, Cannes on July 31, 2016. Two further “Prix MAYA” will be awarded to Diana Vishneva (Mariinsky Ballet, ABT) and Aurélie Dupont (Director of the Paris Opera Ballet).
