Stuttgart Ballet Principal Dancer Rocío Alemán has launched Creare Crescere (“Create / Grow”), an intercultural exchange project between her former ballet school - the Escuela Superior de Música y Danza de Monterrey (Mexico) – and the Stuttgart Ballet. The project provides the graduating class of the ESMDM the experience of working with choreographers of the Stuttgart Ballet, thereby expanding their technical and artistic knowledge as well as exposing them to working in the professional environment of a world class ballet company. In addition, the students will gain an impression of the current European contemporary dance language which will expand their artistic horizons and be beneficial for their professional careers.

The Stuttgart Ballet choreographers participating are: Aurora de Mori, Vittoria Girelli, Agnes Su, Fabio Adorisio, Rolando D’Alesio, Alessandro Giaquinto, Shaked Heller, David Moore, Roman Novitzky and Louis Stiens. Percussionist of the State Orchestra Stuttgart Marc Strobel composed the music for this project. Participating from the ESMDM were ballet mistress Rosario Murillo and ballet master Alejandro Jáuregui who assisted with the project and ran rehearsals. The final video was edited by Producciones Pujol under the direction of Alejandro Pujol. The project is under the sponsorship of the Trustees of the Escuela Superior de Música y Danza de Monterrey.
