Timoor Afshar
Timoor Afshar was born in Indianapolis (USA) and grew up in Fishers, Indiana. He received his first ballet training at the Indiana Ballet Conservatory; as of 2011 he attended The Harid Conservatory. From 2012 – 2016 he completed his education at the John Cranko Schule.
In 2016/2017 he joined the Stuttgart Ballet as an apprentice, one season later he became a member of the Corps de ballet. At the beginning of the 2019/20 season he was promoted to Demi Soloist.
After creating his piece B-Side in 2019 and Deltangi in 2021, he is now creating his third piece for Noverre: Young Choreographers.

In 2016/2017 he joined the Stuttgart Ballet as an apprentice, one season later he became a member of the Corps de ballet. At the beginning of the 2019/20 season he was promoted to Demi Soloist.
After creating his piece B-Side in 2019 and Deltangi in 2021, he is now creating his third piece for Noverre: Young Choreographers.

Alessandro Giaquinto
Alessandro Giaquinto was born in Scandiano (Italy) and grew up in Reggio Emilia. At the age of ten he received his first ballet training at the Progetto Danza in Scandiano. From 2011 to 2016 he continued his education at the John Cranko Schule, from which he graduated in July 2016. In 2012 Marco Goecke and Louis Stiens created the role of Gene in the Coproduction Dancer in the Dark with the Schauspiel for him. In the 2016/17 season he joined the Stuttgart Ballet as an apprentice, one season later he became a member of the Corps de ballet. At the beginning of the 2021/22 season he was promoted to Demi-Soloist.
Alessandro has created several choreographies already. His latest work Yasuragi no chi premiered on the Stuttgart Ballet Tour in Toyko in March 2022 and will have its Stuttgart Premiere at Noverre: Young Choreographers 2022.

Adrian Oldenburger
Adrian Oldenburger was born in Des Moines (Iowa, USA). The majority of his childhood training was received at The School of Classical Ballet and Dance. He participated in a variety of summer intensive programs at world renowned schools such as Houston Ballet Academy, The School of American Ballet and Canada's National Ballet School. In 2013 he was a Prix de Lausanne candidate where he was accepted into the John Cranko Schule. From 2013 to 2016 he completed his education at the John Cranko Schule.
In the 2016/17 season Adrian Oldenburger joined the Stuttgart Ballet as an apprentice and was accepted into the Corps de ballet the following season.
He has created two pieces for Noverre: Young Choreographers already. In 2022, he is presenting his third choreography.

Simone Repele
Simone Repele was born in Turin in 1993 and began his dance training in Italy before being accepted at the Hamburg Ballet School, where he graduated in 2012. In 2012 he participated in the Nijinsky Gala as soloist in Spring and Fall by John Neumeier. In 2013, he appeared as the Prince in The Sleeping Beauty by Mats Ek with Pompea Santoro's Ekodance Project and then spent a season with the Dutch company Introdans. Since 2014, he has been a company member of the Geneva Ballet.
In 2020, together with Sasha Riva, he founded the association Riva & Repele, which finances and promotes their own choreographies, as well as those of other choreographers. The "poets of dance" choreographed and performed their first full-length ballet Lili Elbe Show. Their works are performed at various theaters throughout Europe. This year, Simone Repele and Sasha Riva are guests at Noverre: Young Choreographers for the first time, creating a collaborative piece.
In 2020, together with Sasha Riva, he founded the association Riva & Repele, which finances and promotes their own choreographies, as well as those of other choreographers. The "poets of dance" choreographed and performed their first full-length ballet Lili Elbe Show. Their works are performed at various theaters throughout Europe. This year, Simone Repele and Sasha Riva are guests at Noverre: Young Choreographers for the first time, creating a collaborative piece.

Sasha Riva
Sasha was born in the USA in 1991 and grew up in Italy. In 2008 he began his dance training at John Neumeier's ballet school. In 2011 he became a member of the company of Hamburg Ballet, where John Neumeier has been creating various solo roles for him since his first season, such as the "Balloon Man" in Liliom.

Martino Semenzato
Martino Semenzato was born in Gavardo (Italy) and grew up in Venice where he began his ballet training at Venezia Balletto, a private ballet school. In 2013 he moved to Vienna to attend the Wiener Staatsoper Ballet Academy. In 2015 he joined the Académie Princesse Grace in Monte Carlo from which he graduated in 2018.
For the 2018/19 season Martino Semenzato was an apprentice with the Stuttgart Ballet. In the following season he joined the Stuttgart Ballet as a member of the Corps de ballet.
He is creating his first choreography within Noverre: Young Choreographers 2022.
