Louis Stiens's Messenger

Louis Stiens's Messenger

video on demand

June 25th, 18:00 h (CET) to June 28th, 22:00 h (CET)
From June 25 to June 28th StuttgartBallet@Home will continue with another brand new work by Louis Stiens, dancer and choreographer of the Stuttgart Ballet. Stiens is – in the most positive sense – an entirely unpredictable choreographer. With his finger on the pulse of his under-30 generation, his choreography is adventurous and raw and defies characterisation. In Messenger he explores the dynamics between a messenger/prophet/harbinger of change and a community which at times embraces, at times rejects the newcomer. Stiens’ one-act ballet is a compelling study set to Czech composer Ondřej Adámek’s orchestral work Follow me. As video on demand on the Stuttgart Ballet’s website and YouTube channel.
