Natalie Thornley-Hall was born in Brighton (United Kingdom) and grew up in Vancouver (Canada). She began her ballet training at a small private school in Vancouver; in 2014 she attended the Next Generation Ballet at the Straz Center for the Performing Arts in Tampa, Florida. One year later she became a student at the John Cranko Schule in Stuttgart from which she graduated in 2019.

From 2010 to 2014 she took part in the Youth America Grand Prix. In 2011 she won the bronze medal in the finals.

For the 2019/20 season Natalie Thornley-Hall is an apprentice with the Stuttgart Ballet.
