Ballet in the Park’s 20th year! 2007 was the first time a ballet performance was broadcast live from the Stuttgart Opera House to the Oberer Schloßgarten. In the years since, this free-of-charge open air event has achieved cult status. This season, we celebrate the event’s 20th year with a gala program: excerpts from classical repertoire as well as contemporary highlights, featuring both the ensemble and the company’s soloists at their prime. After the gala on Saturday, the John Cranko School follows with a performance on Sunday morning. With lively moderation by Sonia Santiago, Ballet in the Park is guaranteed to be a sensation.
