This year the Stuttgart Ballet presents Swan Lake for its annual “Ballet in the Park”. Since 2007 the free public viewing event has established itself as a Stuttgart summer highlight and attracts thousands of visitors every year. Under the open sky, in the park in which the opera house is situated, on picnic blankets, with children, grandparents or best friends, viewers can enjoy world class ballet for free. Eleven cameras provide unique images. The following morning, the John Cranko School gives its all to thrill the outdoor audience. From the smallest beginners to the graduating class of the Academy, they show what they have learned in classical and modern pieces. Whether already a ballet fan or an absolute novice, whether young or old, Ballet in the Park promises “Ballet for All”.
