Mizuki Amemiya was born in Tokyo (Japan). She received her ballet education at the private school Hattori Ayako Ballet Class in her home town. In 2014 she attended the John Cranko Schule in Stuttgart where she graduated in 2017.

In the 2017-18 season Mizuki Amemiya became an apprentice with the Stuttgart Ballet and since the 2018-19 season she was a member of the Corps de ballet. At the beginning of the 2023/24 season she was promoted to Demi-Soloist.
