Vita

Fabio Adorisio was born in Cirie, Italy. He began his dance training at the private school Academia danza Spettacolo in Ivre. From 2009 to 2011, he attended the ballet school of the Balletto di Toscana in Florence before completing his studies from 2011 to 2013 at the John Cranko School in Stuttgart from which he graduated in 2013. In the season 2013/14 Fabio Adorisio became an apprentice with the Stuttgart Ballet, one season later he was taken into the Corps de ballet. With the beginning of the 2018-19 season he was promoted to Demi-Soloist, 2022-23 to Soloist.

Already during his time at the John Cranko School he began to choreograph. He created his first work Mortal Sospiro, a pas de deux, for the renowned Noverre-Society’s “Young Choreographers” in 2013. That same year, he also choreographed Instabile for the Assemblée Internationale 2013 in Toronto for students of several prestigious ballet schools. Also for the Noverre-Society he created Ansia in 2014. His third work for the Noverre Society, In2, was so successful, that it was taken into the repertory of the Stuttgart Ballet. In 2015, he created – along with three other choreographers – a new work for the John Cranko School: Autumn, set to Vivaldi’s “The Four Seasons”. In 2017 he participated in and created a work for the New York Choreographic Institute. In 2018 he received his first commission to create a world premiere for the Stuttgart Ballet, titled Or Noir. In the 2019/20 season two choreographies for the Stuttgart Ballet followed: Calma Apparente and Empty Hands. With Lost Room in the 2022/23 season one more commissioned work followed.

At the “Galà dei Premiati” in September 2023 Fabio Adorisio received an award as one of the best and most successful Italian dancers who are dancing in Italy as well as abroad.
